Welcome back!
I hope you all enjoyed discussing your summer reading books this morning. I look forward to hearing more about your experiences as the week progresses. Remember that if you are a CP or Honor student, your summer reading essay from the world literature book you selected is due tomorrow. Please contact me with any questions you may have after reading the course expectations, and extra handouts of today's materials have been added to my school website. Remember to email me if you would like access to the course Ning.
Have a great evening & I will see you tomorrow.

Welcome back!
Today the focus is settling back into WHS. You will be discussing your summer reading & have brief introductions to your first semester classes - complete with faculty rules and expectations.
Block 1:
Your first homework assignment is to read the Introduction and first chapter (Robbie) of I, Robot.
Block 2:
Your first assignment is to complete the Who I am essay and bring in your summer reading assignment. We will be starting the Theban tragedies on Friday.
Block 6:
Your first assignment is to complete the Who I am essay and bring in your summer reading assignment. We will start off the year studying some interesting philosophies of thought.
Thought for the day....
"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice
at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow.'"
